Silo Post-Tensioning is the replacement of the internal rebar that has delaminated from the concrete.  As silos age, the concrete material can degrade, weakening the structural supports provided by the internal rebar.

Silo Post-Tensioning is accomplished by putting bands around the exterior of the silo under tension – strengthening the structure and extending life.
